hardwood floor finishing course for architects and interior designers

hardwood floor finishing course for architects and interior designers

On June 7, a Hardwood Floor Finishing class was provided by BONA® and hosted by Arnold Flooring. It was designed to educate architects and interior designers on the life cycle of wood floors in residential and commercial settings. Attendees learned how to incorporate a variety of floor finishing options as effective design elements.

Questions on wood floor finishing were answered by Dave Darsche, National Market Manager from BONA. The Arnold Flooring staff was also on hand to answer questions.

The techniques that Arnold Flooring installers use for sanding and refinishing are learned through the Bona Certified Craftsman Program. This program sets the standard in hardwood floor sanding and finishing. Arnold Flooring was one of the very first flooring businesses in Georgia to be awarded an official designation in the Bona Certified Craftsman Program.

Members of AIA, ASID, IIDA, and IDEC were eligible to receive credit for the course.
